Cover Features
Steel Reinforced
A ‘C’ channel provides strong support across the centre of the hot tub cover. This non-corrosive steel channel strengthens the centre of the cover giving extra support.

Marine Grade Vinyl
Our vinyl is treated with mildew and UV inhibitors for overall longevity and year round beauty. We have not gone to the less expensive materials without plasticisers.
Our material still has the flexibility to stretch with the core rather than failing at points of stress where the less expensive
Heat Seal
Our insulating gasket seals heat loss where the two halves fold together. When the cover is shut, the two halves seal automatically which is critical to long-term energy savings.

Handles
Our five layers of internal reinforcement add strength where it’s needed most. Our hot tub cover handles are made to be extremely strong. They are fully integrated into the spa cover with additional stitching and internal reinforcement making them one of the strongest available on the market.
Locking Safety Strap
Side release fasteners included. It also locks for safety and includes two keys and screws to mount the hardware.

Skirt Design
Our spa cover skirts are double stitched into the cover for strength and gusseted to provide the best protection, keeping heat in and dirt out. While the sun beats down on your hot tub cover, extreme heat builds up between the skirt and the outer lip of the spa, and this heat can damage the outer lip of the spa. Our skirt enables this heat to escape, preventing heat damage from occurring while preventing any dirt from entering the hot tub.
Zips
The zipper pull is neatly tucked away in its own pocket. This not only protects the zipper, but it is also much more attractive than an exposed zipper and contributes to the finished appearance.

Hinge
Our Sturdy hinge offers four layers of vinyl, adding extra durability and strength to this high-stress area. Our hinge was put to test when an Igloo Cover was hooked up to an automatic arm, which lifted the cover on and off more than 6000 times with no discernible wear to the hinge.

Your swim spa or hot tub cover prime use is to insulate against heat loss from the heat rising from the water and also to prevent evaporation when the hot tub is not in use. The cover is also an effective barrier from outdoor debris such as leaves being blown into the hot tub. In addition, the hot tub cover also provides an important safety precaution from young children from falling into the hot tub.
A hot tub cover is an essential part of your hot tub and an inefficient cover means that is it will increase your hot tub running costs. Waterlogged covers are also extremely heavy and can damage your cover lifter and are difficult to open. We can supply a replacement high-quality hot tub cover custom made to your requirements.
Usually, the most obvious sign that a cover needs replacing is when it becomes heavy to lift and indicates the insulation has become waterlogged and is no longer effective. Other signs that your spa cover needs replacing are:-
Heavy To Lift – This has been caused by water ingression into the insulation and soaking it up like a sponge.
Damaged insulation – Perhaps caused by someone standing on it or water collecting on the top.
Chemical damage – Underside of the cover has become roughened or blistered from chemical damage – this will soon allow water to enter the insulation of the cover.
No, usually it is not possible to repair a cover. If the vinyl is perished by UV damage then it will need to be replaced and if torn or damaged then you would require an industrial sewing machine to make the repair. In many cases, it is the insulation that needs replacing because the cores become waterlogged.

- Fit a cover lift – the use of a cover lifter will mean that your cover is far less likely to pick up damage from being removed and replaced on your hot tub, it also make it so much easier to remove the cover.
- Regularly apply a vinyl protector. By using a vinyl protectant it will protect the cover from water damage, ozone, harmful UV rays which can break down the cover
- Watch your hot tub chemicals, certain chemical can cause harmful gasses to collect between the water and the cover damaging the underside of the cover, also when using oxidizers make sure you remove the cover for at least 15 minutes to allow any gasses to vent off.
