What is a Swim Spa or Exercise Pool?
A swim spa or exercise pool can look at as being similar to a running treadmill, but for swimming. You swim on the spot instead of swimming up and down. There are large jets at one end of the swim spa which creates a current of water for you to swim against. The flow of these jets can be adjusted to change the amount of resistance to suit swimmers of different abilities.
Many swim spas also have hydrotherapy seats fitted so they can be used like a hot tub and therefore have all the same benefits of a hot tub.
